This is a beautiful spiritual ceremony that took place on Spring Lake Beach and it includes a song written by godparent , an acknowledgement
of sibling, a rose petal blessing, the seashell blessing and
ends with a butterfly release!

Welcome friends and family! Today is a very special day for all of us. It is a day in which we celebrate the birth of these twin children, Auralia and Aviana.
What you are all about to witness here today is truly a celebration of love, and of life! As Auralia and Aviana are here today, they are new and perfect, with no need of fixing nor cleansing. They are a gift. Their smile, laughter, and presence enrich the lives of all who know them. Only 16 months old, and already they have made the world a better place.
These children are our future and represent the light of the world. Sean and Denise have honored all of you today by inviting you to not only witness this beautiful ceremony, but most importantly, to participate in the blessing of this child.

A wonderful tradition in our culture on these occasions is the responsibility accepted by Godparents. Godparents are those who promise they will be there in Auralia and Aviana’s lives should they need support, wisdom, comfort and guidance. They are someone the girls will know will always be standing quietly behind them, encouraging them to make good choices, and sharing with them the lessons they themselves have learned along the way.
Today Kelli Ann Baker and Ryan Edward Clifton have agreed to become involved in Auralia’s life.And Alana Marie Clifton and Carl Thomas Clifton have agreed to become involved in Aviana’s life.
Ryan and Carl were unable to make the journey to join us today. They are here with us in spirit and have sent their personal blessings.
I would like to invite Auralia’s Godmother Kelli to share with us Ryan’s special blessings.

Sean and Denise : I wanted to tell you both how proud I am to be Auralias Godfather. Although I still have a hard time telling her apart from Aviana, I can tell you that you both created two gorgeous babies. They're beyond cute even when their brain piercing screams penetrate my cranium. Despite the headache, their sweetness, beauty and their innocence instantly puts smile on my face. I also know that because Auralia has two awesome and loving parents and an even more awesome godfather, she will do great in life. She is lucky to have you two as parents with such a strong family base. I know that this will mean Auralia does great in life…I also want to tell you how honored I am to be named as Auralia's godfather- It means a lot to me and is not something I take lightly, so THANK YOU.
Auralia: I want you to know, that just like your parents, I love you unconditionally. If there is ever anything you need, I will be there to help. I will support you through good times and bad. I'll always try to steer you in the right direction. And I may even spoil you sometimes. I wish you the best in life and know that you will turn into a terrific young lady and eventually into a great woman. I am incredibly proud to be your godfather and although I couldn't be there in person today, you are on my mind and Im there in spirit.

Water has long been considered by many as the source of life…. Water is in and around all of us, and is also a symbol of the human spirit--- always in motion, never ceasing, only taking new forms…..
Because we believe and know in our hearts that Auralia and Aviana made their way onto this earth as a pure, innocent, and perfect souls, this ceremony is not intended to cleanse them from sin. It is instead to celebrate their lives, and to signify our intentions to nourish their hearts, their minds, their bodies, and spirit…. to allow their lives to flow in the direction they choose each day, with the love and guidance of family and friends to help them find their way.
