Let us say a prayer of blessing for these siblings:
Dear God, we ask you to bless (Siblings name) Brother to (Baby’s name). May there be joy and laughter between brother and sister. May they be best friends. May they cherish one another for all their lives. Amen.
Option 3-good for a younger sibling

You are all going to grow up together, going to the same schools, knowing the same friends, remembering all the places your mom and dad took you to, and the three of you are going to know one another better than anyone else in the world ever could… because you are brothers! Would you like to give ____ a kiss before we bless him?

I would like to invite ____ to please come forward to join your parents in a unity candle lighting. Will you all please take an (tapered) candle.
A strong unified family is the most precious gift. You each have a bright light – something unique and special to offer, and when you come together as a family the light is even stronger.
(To one of the parents)____ Will you please light your candle, and then take your candle and light the others-as the light your (baby’s name)___ life.
These candles represent the collective sparks of life and love that is your family. As the flames join with one another making one brighter and more lasting flame, so too, do you come together. Much like the flame of the candle, when you share your love with each other your love is not diminished, but enhanced, and within you the sparks of divinity burn even brighter.
Your family is a circle of strength and love.
With every birth and every union the circle grows.
Every joy shared adds more love
Every crisis faced together makes the circle grow stronger.
Look around you; you are the people who will help shape ____ life. A garden becomes more beautiful with each flower. It is the same with a family.
